Kuri K9 Trail & Train is looking for a new Hike Leader to join our pack in Nanaimo.

We are Nanaimo’s elite off leash dog walking service, with a strong focus on structure and training on our pack hikes. We also offer private training sessions, and limited boarding.

We support balanced training methods; focusing on positive reinforcement, with clear boundaries. Some of our pack members require e-collars to participate, you must be comfortable with the use of them and prepared to learn how to use them safely and humanely.

Employees are expected to actively work with, and train dogs on our hikes. Helping to create and maintain behaviours such as:

  • Loose leash walking

  • Recall

  • Sit/stays

  • Good social skills

  • Impulse control

  • Boundaries

  • And more
